Meet Our Team

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the future health of the school. The board hires, resources, supports, and evaluates the Head of School. The Board’s time is spent mainly in a strategic capacity - planning and preparing for the future. New members are considered annually and chosen by the current board. The school board believes deeply in the need to safeguard the mission of The Oaks. School Board members take part in annual board training, participate in an annual retreat, and meet quarterly. Members serve on one or more of the following committees: Finance and Audit, Governance and Nominations, Head of School Support and Evaluation.

Executive Team

Our executive team members are committed to the mission of the school and to the Classical Christian Collaborative model of education. The executive team is responsible for academic excellence and student formation through strategic staff development and administrative excellence. The Head of School reports to the board. The executive team is made up of the Head of School, the Heads of each school (Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric), and the Director of Operations.
